Snow bunny

As you all know we had a huge snow storm tonight, and I don't know about your kids but as soon as Taylor sees that it is snowing she wants to go out and play. When Zach finally got home from work he bundled Taylor up and let her come outside with him while he shoveled the driveway. Since Mason was already in bed I decided to take the opportunity and do a photo shoot of her playing in the snow. She wanted me to take a picture of the snow angel she made which I did but it is hard to see it in the picture. She had so much fun rolling around.

My little Snow Bunny

The one of her eating snow was her idea (she said she wanted to play like a turkey).

Halloween Party

This was a great Halloween we decided to combine both Taylor's and Mason's birthday parties into one huge Halloween bash. There were games, food, and a lot of noise.
Mason had the stomach flu and we were afraid he wouldn't want his cake but we were so wrong. I kept his cake in the fridge until it was time for him to eat it and it was a good thing I did he pick up the entire cake. One Taylor's 1st birthday she was so careful not to get dirty. It is so funny how different they are.

Mason's One

Mason has grown so much in the last year!!! He can say mommy and has said daddy a couple times, still crawling but I am confident he will be walking by Thanksgiving. He is currently 23 lbs 30inches long and still only has a little hair. He is the happiest baby I have ever seen, always has a smile on him face and now that he has lost some weight you can see his adorable dimples.
When people would say that boys get in to things a lot more then little girl I would think to myself yea right. But let me tell you they were right!!!!! Mason is always on the go if it isn't crawling around chasing the cats he is getting in something he shouldn't be. In my opinion he is very smart just the other day he was trying to get a cup off the end table in our room and realized he couldn't reach it so he tipped over our bill folder to stand on top of it to get the cup.

Milestones
5 months old Rolled over May 10th at Aunt Sharee's house

7 months old Crawled for the first time on July 4th
11 months old took his first step on September 27th of course it was for daddy and not me

Pumpkin Patch

So Zach and I took the kids to the pumpkin patch here in Tooele, we have decided to make it a new family tradition. Taylor had so much fun, she had to look at every pumpkin to make sure she got the right one. When she finally spotted the one she wanted she grabbed the scissors cut it off the stem and then rolled it down the field. Of course Mason couldn't pick out his own so he got a little one (just like him).
After we were done picking out pumpkins we wait for the tractor to come and pick us up and take us back to the front. Riding in the tractor was Taylor's favorite part, I thought Mason was going to cry but he just looked at the man driving the tractor trying to figure it all out. When we left Taylor says "I want to go again" so I suppose we will have to do it one more time before Halloween comes!!!!

Stranger Danger

We took Taylor to the library to listen to an officer talk about stranger danger, I figured if an officer talks about it she will more likely listen. After about 20minutes the officer started to ask the kids questions, one of his questions were "if you are at Walmart how can you avoid strangers" Taylor raises her hand and says "wear a disguise" of course this is not the answer the officer was looking for but it was just about the cutest thing to me.

1st day of kindergarten

So I started a blog to keep a record of all the fun storys that I have when I take pictures as well as document milestone. My kids do some of the cutest things so I capture the moment with a picture but when it comes time to tell the story behind the picture I draw a blank.
Taylor started kindergarten about a month ago and she loves it. Here are some pictures taken the first day of school. She was so excited to start school, she got a new alarm clock, and even got to pick out her own backpack (it took 1 hour at Walmart for her to decide). Everyday after school I ask her "How was your day at school today" "Its a long story" and that is pretty much all I can get out of her.
